My yoga teaching style emphasizes self-care and self-awareness, working from the inside out to reconnect you to your true nature - kind, compassionate, and loving. The increased awareness is exactly what will give you the opportunity to live intentionally every day and feel better doing it.

I specialize in Trauma-Informed, Gentle Somatic, and Restorative Yoga which allows you to step out of your stress response and into your parasympathetic nervous system so your body may rest, repair and rebuild the strength it needs to be healthy, motivated, and productive.

Private and semi-private sessions are perfect for people who have specific goals they want to achieve, or who may have physical challenges they want to address. It can also be a fun way to do yoga privately with a partner or good friends during a time that works for you!

Yoga for a Group or Event
Anna has had the pleasure of teaching at retreats, for spouses groups, clubs, on a military base, in schools, and for corporate organizations. Whatever community you would like to bring yoga to there is a class or flow that can be designed specifically for your group or event.

For your group, Anna will take into consideration their fitness level, previous exposure to yoga, and desired outcome such as relaxation, education, fun, fitness, and so on.
​
Anna is well-versed in many different styles of yoga. She is a Hatha Yoga trained teacher with additional training in Gentle Somatic Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, and can integrate Mindfulness or Meditation into any session upon request.

Wellness at Work
Repetitive tasks, long hours at a desk, and other job-related stressors can decrease our range of motion and increase physical body discomfort due to postural imbalances. Body discomfort can lead to a lack of focus, and productivity, increased agitation, and sick days.
Gentle Somatic Yoga unwinds the muscles, increases mobility, and helps us access our parasympathetic nervous system which is the part of our nervous system responsible for building a strong immune system and an increase in productivity, focus, and resilience.

About Anna
Anna first sought out yoga in 2003 to help relieve physical pain and migraines. It didn’t take long before she realized that yoga could help with so much more than the physical body. Her migraines did decrease and she also started to notice that she was sleeping better. It wasn’t too long before Anna realized that her stress decreased and her overall level of happiness was improving.
In 2015 Anna got certified to teach Hatha Yoga, and she would tell you that it was one of the best decisions she ever made. Since then she has continued her training to include Trauma-informed Yoga and Meditation, Gentle Somatic Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation Certification, Mindfulness for Kids, and Kids Yoga.
Her favorite style of class to teach is a Restorative Yoga class blended with Gentle Somatic Yoga which works to lengthen the muscles, break the cycle of chronic stress, and repattern the brain to increase mobility while decreasing pain.
Anna believes that if you want to do anything great in this world, one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to learn how to practice radical self-care. Yoga, Mindfulness, and Meditation are one of the most powerful ways to achieve that on a consistent basis.
I’ve taken several of Anna’s restorative and gentle somatic yoga flow classes. I am amazed every time, at how much her classes help me to release tension and restore my mental and physical balance!
During the last class I took, Anna had us check in to measure our flexibility before and after a particular leg exercise. I was amazed at the increase after just a couple of nice long stretches!
Anna’s voice is so soothing and her mindful approach is evident throughout class. I leave feeling stretched out thoroughly, limbered up, and definitely mentally restored! I personally highly recommend Anna!
